Apparently the negative press has begun to run its toll on "Dr." Baker.

Barry,

Do you mean that he doesn't actually have a Ph.D. or M.D.?

This is Baker's attempt at some hype and market penetration.

Someone should contact the newsletter editor and advise him of the problems with VSA.

He has a phony Ph.D. that's now illegal in almost half the country. I didn't see a link to post comments, but yes, somebody ought to send the Nightline video. (I think it was Nightline.)

So.... did anyone fill out the application to join Baker's American Polygraph & Voice Stress Analysis Association (APAVSAA)? I also noticed that on his website he sites 5 validation studies and the first one he sites used tape recordings of the old 'To Tell The Truth' television show where all the contestants said 'My name is xxx'. Claims a success rate of 94.7%. Sounds like a very scientific study and one to be proud of.

I submitted a comment in response to this article. Baker has long been identified as a fraud. The USAF published a study on this back in 1998.
Baker was identified as a phony on an ABC's "Primetime" expose. The date was 3/30/2006. Brian Ross was the reporter. Time sho do fly, and people forget, thats why Baker is still in business.
